RELOCATING TO ASHEVILLE NORTH CAROLINA!!!!


I've been doing music my whole life. I've played girlfriend, groupie, booking agent, fan, bassist, venue, manager and now the glory of promotions. My life span has granted me the leverage of the entire midwest, east coast, the entire south as far as CAL I FORN I A. and here i sit amongst this. I wonder if sometimes I have absolutely lost my mind at times this has been confirmed by closer friends... especially when I start the talk of a musical revolution under the radar of the top 5, soon to be 4 major labels... why is this... doesnt anyone else know that universal is owned by the french??? I have had enough of your "we want to be a big succes" bullshit to make me fill up both go go boots with vomit and scary feces.
I remember a famous line from the movie "one last minute" its explained to the lead character that the public opinion does suck but they also decide whether or not you have a job. I say fuck your job and ill collect my welfare check. I know theres more of you out there FED UP with the clones that propagate this town we live in... I know that at every corner your bombarded with another streaming series of SUV's and piss drunk frat boys singing against me at the top of their lungs...
yet when i start booking REAL musicians, with total talent in this town i get such mixed negative feedback, its no wonder that the only celebrity for upcoming artists exists when they leave this place... yet you chug beers with me at the shamrock and praise my revoltionary propaganda on high... WHY BOTHER. Im no better than these fellow g'ville pukes. I drive an SUV my parents bought me, I suck ass to all the local venues and I spend my free time cussing out local bands who hurt my ears. I WANT A FUCKING CHANGE... and if i cant get you to do it, I have to wonder if its because i havent myself taken the steps...
so i go on myspace and i speak openly about bodily functions and rage issues, and you flock to me like flood is here and Im the last bitch in a dry place.
but i have issues.
i have plenty of issues. I have spent the past 20 some odd years of my life watching talented musicians starve in back alleys with out any real fan base because they cant book the venues and what is left of a fan base has been brain washed by what you hear on tv commercials. yet public made music TV struggles to keep on air and gets screwed over in this town because student government at uf holds more "quote" numbers. FUCK THIS BULLSHIT.
yeah this is more kr propaganda, more exploitive promotions, but the truth still rings through. I AM SICK OF THIS FUCKING USELESS MASS OF BEUROCRATS running gainesvilles music scene. there isnt a band in its infant stages that hasn't done its time at tim and terrys to the 2 regulars and the one homeless guy everlast on the poarch. there isnt a band who hasnt been given a chance at eddie c's to prove themselves against the locals...
yet i have to beg and plead with you to come to a different event of shows...
all of you so desperate to be noticed, yet you are so quick to deny me on gainesvillebands.com, yet email me ALL THE TIME ON MYSPACE... why is that "THE BUZZ" why???
Some of you might not realize this, but this HUGE SHOW im doing on wednesday IS FOR FREE. YES @ 20 hours already invested in blogs and communications FOR FREE... why? because i have a vision of what this town CAN BE and SHOULD BE... the most kick ass rock spot on the east coast and for that matter whats left of the south.
you know, i spent so many hours watching those dolphins sing dance and rejoice for their lives... yet here we sit whining and bitching when i say GET UP AND DANCE... SCREAM YOUR HEART OUT AT THE ROCK SHOWS and inspire our musicians and artists to raise the bar of the "underground, indie" music scene. SUPPORT INTERNET RADIO theres real fans picking those songs... not being paid to play them... SUPPORT INDEPENDANT TV, and most of all SUPPORT broke ass promoters like me giving up quality family time in hopes that for my child, I can make a little difference on the music that surrounds her highschool years.
DONT YOU REALIZE THAT OUR GENERATION HAS DONE NOTHING but vote asshole liars into office and bastardize the minorites because we are afraid of being truely alone... TO BE PUNK IS TO REBEL AND TO REBEL IS TO NOT END UP ANOTHER EMO MYSPACE BAND SELLING YOUR SOUL FOR FRIENDS.
THIS IS REDICULOUS... ahh I wish i could make bulletins scream and head butt you ... NO ONE IS WATCHING YOU BUT ME. now please... think about this... think about people that you know who spend their whole lives with those guitars to play a show for 20 friends and some groupies they wish would lose their phone numbers... THOSE PEOPLE have a message....
listen to their voices and instruments as their lives aspirations and souls ring over your heads.... come up to the stage and flip them the bird... they deserve your accolades and most of all they deserve your CHEERS...
music is about to change... the industry as we know is is going to be overthrown by minority big mouth promoters and artists like me who have a cause...
TO BE THE VOICE OF THE PEOPLE not what our tv or our FM radio OR OUR GOVERNMENT SAYS...
people are dying all over the place because of natural disasters, and been left for dead by the people WE PAY TO PROTECT US... they are not our friends, even more so, they are not our family...
help me... rebel against me... anything... but please... have a voice.

Its been a crazy few years here in GAINESVILLE UGH. Got tons of amazing bands with lots of local talent ready to hit the big screen, mainstream. STILL HAVENT FOUND THAT ONE BAND TO MAKE IT TO THE TOP and worth using my connects... and being a free bee booking agent is too taxing so enough of that, if you want to party or hang with me I'm down, NO MORE FREE SHOWS FOR ASSHOLES or CLONES!! SORRY!!! I love my life, my friends, and family. They are what drives me to do what I do and say what I say despite the periodic public executions on GBDC. Im an exhibitionist, a pornographer and a person who actively practices stream of consciousness... not to mention a lachrymologist... FIND BEAUTY IN THE DECAY!! its much harder than just saying its pretty cause its obvious! You might have seen me at a holiday in hellhouse party with THE LOVE DRAGS, driving my red 70 chev truck, SUV, working for UF busting kids for downloading music I.C.A.R.U.S. *yes my hipocracy has no bounds in this town... and hooting for owls or for that matter front row flipping off some shitty untalented band on UDTV.
